Two Funding Streams Available
Standalone AC and/or DC charge points only
AC and/or DC charge points integrated with energy storage alone, or energy storage and solar PV
Who Is Eligible?
Eligibility Criteria
- ✓Landowning businesses or charge point operators
- ✓Must own or have permission to complete works on privately owned land
- ✓Located on Scottish Island or category 5-8 postcode (8-Fold Urban Rural Classification)
- ✓Must have UK business bank account
- ✓Must be a registered business

Grants are offered on a first come, first served basis and are subject to funding availability. The grant may close without notice within the 2025-26 financial year.
Key Requirements
All funded infrastructure must meet these requirements
Public Access
- • Must be publicly accessible
- • Must appear on public network map
- • Must adhere to Public Charge Point Regulations 2023
- • Site must be free from barriers 100% of publicly accessible time
Site Requirements
- • Clear land ownership required
- • Cannot be on local authority owned land
- • Must be in category 5-8 postcode or Scottish Island
- • Evidence of connection capability required
